Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 17 August 2026

1.Acceptance of Terms

By contacting RSS Construction & Renovations by phone, WhatsApp, email, in person or through any other channel, you ("the Client") acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.

2.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, we accept no liability for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising on the Client's premises. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

3.After-Hours, Weekend & Public Holiday Rates

Standard pricing applies during normal working hours on weekdays. After-hours, weekend and public holiday call-outs may attract additional charges, communicated before work commences where possible.

4.Quotations & Pricing Changes

Quotations are based on information provided by the Client and a reasonable visual inspection. Prices may change if scope, site conditions, materials or third-party costs differ from what was quoted. Material changes are communicated before additional work is carried out.

5.Payment

Payment terms are agreed per job. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on completion. Late payments may attract interest at the rate prescribed by the Prescribed Rate of Interest Act 55 of 1975.

6.Workmanship

Any concerns regarding workmanship must be raised in writing within a reasonable period after completion so that we have a fair opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, remedy the issue.

7.Site Access & Safety

The Client is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work site, and for keeping valuables, fragile items, pets and children clear of the work area.

8.Cancellations

Cancellations should be communicated as early as possible. Short-notice cancellations may attract a call-out fee covering travel and time already committed.

9.Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

10.Severability

If any provision is found unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remainder shall continue in full force.

11.Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published at the time of contact applies to the Client's engagement.
